Moldova is rumored to be one of Europe’s least visited countries,
yet it remains a place rich in culture, natural beauty, and a wine legacy unlike anywhere else.
Its rolling hills, quiet villages, rooted food traditions, and deep winemaking heritage create a gentle landing for women craving restoration and perspective. This is the home of Cricova and Milesti Mici, two of the largest underground wine cellars in the world, where millions of bottles rest inside miles of winding limestone tunnels that feel like stepping into a living archive.
Traditional Moldovan cuisine blends Slavic and Balkan influences with comforting dishes like mămăligă, sarmale, and plăcinte, each one tied to memory, heritage, and the warmth of gathering.
Locals are known for their hospitality, their heartfelt toasts, and the way every meal becomes an invitation to connect. We are arriving right as nature begins its own renewal, which makes this retreat a moment to exhale, to move at a humane pace, and to be held in community
while still hearing your own story rise back to the surface.
Where Gastroculture Meets Introspection

Lu -Your Trip Coordinator
I knew from the start that this trip couldn’t be about my story.
It’s about your journey.
That’s exactly why we can’t go to Moldova without a true professional.
I am ecstatic to welcome, alongside you,
Milica Krstić, psychotherapist, global mental health strategist, and Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree whose work spans clinical research, global program design, and culturally responsive mental health care. She is also the founder of Safe Space, a platform dedicated to accessible and stigma-free support for communities around the world.
For this retreat, she created a tailored program focused on Being Present in the Body, the Mind-Body Connection, Healthy Boundaries, and the practice of relaxation and guilt-free rest. Her own story, reflected in her book It’s Not a Big Deal, reveals the power of self-awareness, survival instinct, and emotional honesty, grounding her work in a lived understanding of what it means to heal and come home to yourself.
She’s someone who transformed my perspective in a single dinner, so I can only imagine what her tailored program will bring to you during our week of exploration and self discovery.
